Holland Lop Rabbits

Holland Lop rabbits are the smallest among the floppy eared rabbits family with weight about 1.2 – 1.4 Kg only, and they are considered as dwarf rabbit. With such size no wonder some peoples – for example in UK mostly - call it as Miniature Lop rabbit, “normal” Lop in mini size.

In fact, this type is the smallest type of rabbit in the world beside Netherland Dwarf.

The ears do not really down to earth like other Lops, instead a bit awkward to the left and right forming 45 degrees. They are short, just about an inch below the lower head.

The head is looked strong – like bulldogs – with very short neck so that it looks like its head sticks to the body. The body itself is looked muscled, compact and short.

Opposite from their appearance, they are very loveable for pet rabbits as their personality normally calm, cool and some of them are shy.
