So Very Sad . . .

I live in a community in Oviedo, Florida (Barrington) that has a beautiful pond where we take out children for walks. For months and months we have seen a very large white rabbit in a very small wire cage. This rabbit is on the outdoor patio in extreme cold, extreme heat and rain. The owners never take it out of the cage. We have reported them to Animal Control several times, but nothing is ever done. Someone set the rabbit free several times and we have seen it running around the pond, but it is caught and put back in this tiny little cage. Several neighbors post notes on their door, but the poor animal is still in the little cage on the patio. No animal should live this way and yet the owners, nor the authorities do anything for this animal. The wire cage is for indoor use and for a much smaller rabbit. The owners live at 2773 Chaddsford Circle, #107, Oviedo, FL 32765. They go away for days and weeks at a time and the rabbit is uncared for. On rare occasions, a small boy about 4-5 takes the cage to the side walk at the pond and puts wood shavings in the cage and leaves the bags of dirty shavings on the sidewalk. This occurs about once a month, whereas, rabbit pens should be cleaned daily.

SO awful! Why don't you knock on their door and confront them?? I would! Or in the middle of the night, take their rabbit and keep it as your pet, or give it to a trustworthy shelter! This really upsets and angers me, some people really suckkk.

Oh my word! That is awful! I can't believe that animal shelter doesn't do anything about it! Poor thing...I would hate to see any animal treated like that.
